I'm a notorious procrastinator. Can I really stick to the project? Can I post one photo a day for 365 days? The pressure is almost unbearable.

(I DID IT! I stuck to the original project and in 2010 I took two photographs every day, for two different groups! I'm going to continue to add 365 photos per year to this blog, but they probably will not be taken on consecutive days. That is too much to ask...)

More garden pix. Better get used to that! This is an sport off of a variegated sedum I have. There seemsto be a total lack of color, so I don't suppose it will last long but it is kind of interesting.

Almost my whole front "yard" is vinca. It was that way when I bought this house and I love it. There is a little tiny patch of grass, a whole lot of vinca and a foundation plantings. "Mowing the lawn" out front takes about 30 seconds. It has such a pretty flower.

  1. It's a good thing you like the vinca (I think it's very pretty) because it's practically impossible to eradicate. Mom planted some, in one patch, years ago, and now it's all over the place. I'm constantly pulling the stuff out of my gardens. I just mow over it in the yard.

  2. Phlegmmy,

I thought that blue stuff was myrtle. Whatever it is, I have tons of it on my property and love it. Plus, I won't have to mow. :)

  3. It is myrtle. The latin name is vinca. It's just so nice the spring to have something so green already!
